Does Trued work offline?
Yes — completely. The solver, the 2,100+ bullet database and your rifle profiles all live on your device, so you get full firing solutions with no signal at the range, in the mountains or in the backcountry. No account is required.
What drag models does Trued support?
G1 and G7 ballistic coefficients, plus custom drag curves for bullets with measured data. Using the drag model that matches your bullet is what keeps solutions accurate at long range.
Is Trued free?
Trued is free to download and includes demo rifle profiles with the full solver, range card, reticle holds and charts. Premium unlocks unlimited rifle profiles and night vision mode — as an auto-renewing subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
Which devices does Trued run on?
iPhone and iPad, plus Apple Silicon Macs. One download from the App Store, with layouts tuned for each screen size.
How accurate is Trued?
The solver uses a point-mass trajectory model with G1, G7 or measured custom drag curves and a full ICAO atmosphere model (station pressure, temperature, humidity), and it is validated against published reference trajectories. For your exact rifle, BC/MV truing calibrates the solution to observed impacts — the same workflow professional shooters use to true any ballistic solver.
Does Trued work for airguns and rimfire?
Yes. The solver handles subsonic and transonic launch correctly, so it is accurate for .177 pellets and .22 LR as well as centerfire cartridges out to extreme long range. The database includes airgun pellets alongside 2,100+ bullets.
Does Trued connect to Kestrel wind meters?
Bluetooth support for Kestrel wind meters is planned. Today you enter wind speed, direction, temperature and pressure manually — it takes a few seconds and every value is remembered per session.
Does it support both MOA and MRAD?
Yes. Every solution is shown in MOA or MRAD to match your turrets and reticle, alongside full metric and imperial unit support and localization into 39 languages.
